The effectiveness of marketing real estate through videos

I know a lot of people who are too bored of viewing articles about buying or selling real estate on free classified ads websites. Most of the times, they are disappointed because the pictures on the website are different from the actual house and it costs them lots of money and effort to  come and see in real. Moreover, Internet ads usually include a few images, a short description about the area, number of floors or related documents, which makes the viewers difficult to  picture the house or piece of ground they wish to buy.

Here I offer a solution which is quite familiar but will help provide more detailed information to
the buyers and make them more interested in buying your house. You only have to spend a bit
of time; it costs almost nothing but it can generate amazing results out of your ads.

Make video about every corner of the house with clear in-video introduction. My suggested
video length is from 5 to 10 minutes. When you finish making videos, upload them to YouTube
or another video sharing website then attach the video URL (link) to your ads.

My following experiences will help you do it more easily:

When you want to buy a house, the first factors you consider are location, area, number of
floors and related documents. Those are exactly what your buyers are concerned, and also the
mandatory elements to start your video (can be presented in spoken words or text paragraphs).
You can mention a few reasons why the viewers should leave their beloved house. Always go
from general to detail and never do otherwise.

The surrounding area of the house is an important factor. When filming the overall view of
the house, let the buyers see it clearly (marketplaces, schools, trees, security buildings or
hospitals). This is sure to make the buyers feel safer. One interesting thing is that if you call out
a friendly greeting to someone you know in the video, the viewers will see the friendliness of
people living in your neighborhood.

Of course, when going into the details of the house, you should do some preparations such has:
make sure house is clean, rearrange your stuffs and furniture and make your house look as
neat and beautiful as you can. This creates a comfortable and cozy space for living. Remember
to include your spoken explanation in every shot and try to show your customers the unique
features of the house. If you bought the piece of ground and built on it, you can present the
original ideas of constructing the house as well as the functions of each area in it. You should
combine your voice with the corresponding images, and don’t advertise too heavily about the
quality of the house.

All the details like area, documents, contact address... should be written on the video while you
read them out. Do not forget that besides free classified ads sites, YouTube itself is also an
excellent marketing channel.
