Habits To Have A Happy Family

The family is all for me because a true happiness in life is "Having a place to go - is a home. Having someone to love - is a family. Having both - is a blessing" as the saying of Donna Hedges. Thus, I always ask "What should I do to create a close-knit and harmonious family for my own?". And after reading "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families" by Stephen R. Covey, I have my own true answer through helpful lessons and highly valuable experiences.

An unhappy family is the nightmare of all members. People often think that when you get married with a good spouse, you will have a happy family. However, after marriage, you often encounter stress and tiredness of family life such as the quarrels among family members, your children's disobedience, conflicts in educating and caring your children. Moreover, the broken relationships and negative social impacts are also the reasons for stress. All of you are facing with a seriously spiritual crisis and day-to-day challenges.

If you are in that situation, please choose "Pause Button" to think about the problems of your own family. You know that family is the totality of relationships that are extremely complex and multi-dimensional. Each member in a family need to have multiple skills of keeping a close emotional bond with other members or strengthening responsibilities of caring, sharing and loving together and so on. You should realize that conflicts in the family are the natural laws of life. Instead of blaming others for those conflicts or focusing on problem-solving, you should develop your HABITS to create a happy family.

Why do I emphasize the word "HABITS", not any other concept? Because "Happiness is a journey, not a destination". You yourselves must always strive to adapt to life's changes every day and every hour. If someone shows you how to solve a specific issue in a specific situation and time, it's just a way to extinguish the fire temporarily. Obviously, it will be smoldering and burst into flames at other times. Only by learning the good HABITS, can you cope with all problems easily, like a universal key that unlocks all the doors. Repeating those HABITS will be create your own family's traditions and "traditions bring family healing".

From this book, I have learned how to heal the controversy and correct mistakes in my family or how to establish habits and traditions that nurture the spirit of family renewal to have a "highly effective family". After our children had read this book, they became more harmonious and close-knit without any quarrel since then. They thought about themselves and their behaviors with their parents and brothers. Empathizing, sharing, sacrificing and forgiving are main factors to understand and link all members together. We all think much more about responsibility, mutual benefits and respect. We think interdependently -"we" not "me" and "seek first to understand... then to be understood".

In summary, the biggest success of each individual in life is a happy family, not money, knowledge or social status. If there is no family background, you will not enjoy the full meaning of life. That is why, I think, whoever you are, whether you are married or not married, you also should read.

Right now, I would like to invite you to access and read new information about the author's books, The 7 Habits, as well as about entertainment New more videos
